Tapio Construction was created on the idea of anything being possible. From the company’s inception the President, John Tapio, has held onto the idea that with a little hard work and determination he could create a company that would prove successful at any endeavor it took on.
In the 1980’s when the majestic Mount St. Helens erupted John Tapio applied this principal. He took on the job that very few could to recover our infrastructure and roadways. The hard work and dedication delivered by John Tapio during the Mount St. Helens recovery efforts gave him the necessary tools and experience to break into the commercial construction industry.

Today, Tapio Construction still employs the same principles of hard work and dedication but has grown into a multi-generational company steeped in family values.
